YOUNG FFC WOMEN'S SQUAD FALLS TO SYA

(6/23/19) - The FFC Women fell 4-0, after trailing 2-0 at halftime against a physical, aggressive and experienced SYA team. FFC's younger players preformed well and gained valuable experience, with Catherine Dither leading the way. The team will prepare this week to face VDA on Saturday (6/29) at Howison Park Field #2, at 6 p.m.





FFC REACHES Pro23 MEN'S TITLE GAME WITH 3-2 SEMIFINAL WIN

(7/15/18) - FFC pulled the upset, knocking off the top seed in Saturday night's semifinals with goals coming from Man of the Match Silvio Xavier, Tishan Hanley & Nate Lam... FFC will need to avenge a regular-season loss vs. Roanoke this evening if it wants to earn the Club Champions League Pro23 title! Kickoff of the men's final is set for 6 p.m., preceded by the Women's final at 4 p.m.

It's just a short trip south on 95 to watch and support our boys as they try to bring home another trophy for our Men's Programming!




FFC TO TRAVEL SOUTH TO CLOSE OUT THE SEASON IN THE CCL Pro23 PLAYOFFS

(6/13/18) - FFC's Men's Club Champions League Pro23 teams takes part in the season-ending Playoffs this weekend after finishing first in their conference during the regular season... FFC will take on Loudoun Soccer a short trip south on 95... Make the trip if you have can to support our boys! Saturday's winners advance to Sunday's Finals!

Saturday's game for the FFC Men kickoff at 7 p.m. at Glover Park (formerly Greenwood Park) located in Glen Allen, Va. Both semifinals will be played simultaneously with both winners advancing to Sunday's 6 p.m. Final, which will also be played at Greenwood Park.

The CCL Pro23 Women's semifinals will precede the Men's on Friday with kickoffs at 5 p.m. Their Final will also priced the Men's on Sunday with kickoff slated for 4 p.m.





FFC MEN BEAT LMVSC TO EARN PLAYOFF SPOT, WOMEN FALL IN TIGHT ONE ON THE ROAD



(7/8/18) - The FFC Men's CCL Pro23 team rolled to a 7-0 win over LMVSC at Edison High School on Sunday led by a three-goal effort from Player of the Game Silvio Xavier. The win, combined with FC Richmond's loss to SYA on Sunday, means FFC earned a spot in next Saturday's Pro23 playoff semifinals.

Paulinho Alves, Idrissa Barrie, Gabriel Soriano and Ryan Van Maanen also scored for FFC (3-2-1).

FFC won the division by the goal difference tiebreaker after tying with FC Richmond on points. They will play a to be determined opponent at a TBD time at Greenwood Park in Glen Allen, Va., in Saturday's semifinals.

The Women's team suffered a tough 2-1 setback to LMVSC in its final regular-season game of the season. Hannah Taylor scored FFC's lone goal, while Kaylani Green was named Player of the Game. The women finished the season with a 1-5-0 record.


FFC MEN SHUT OUT SYA IN CCL Pro23 ACTION, WOMEN FALL



(6/30/18) - The Fredericksburg FC Pro23 Men's team picked up it's second win of the season on Saturday, topping SYA 5-0 on the road. Tishan Hanley earned Man of the Match honors with 3 goals, while Martin Ngoh netted 2 as FFC improved to 2-1-1 on the season.

The FFC women took a tough loss, falling 4-1 to SYA. The game was tied 1-1 until SYA notched quick back-to-back goals in the 66th and 68th minutes, before adding another late. Kylie Reid tallied for FFC (1-3-0), while Kay Kay Butcher earn Player of the Match honors. Kaya Shepherd, a member of FFC '03 Girls Black team played a full match very well at left back.

FFC hosts VA Rush in a make-up doubleheader this Thursday. The Men's game kicks off at 4 p.m. with the Women to follow at 6 p.m. FFC then closes out regular-season play with a doubleheader at LMVSC, at Edison High School, on Sunday, July 8 (Men, noon; Women, 2 p.m.).



FFC CCL Pro23 WOMEN PICK UP FIRST WIN, MEN FALL IN HOME OPENER TO ROANOKE STAR

(6/16/18) - The Fredericksburg FC women got goals from Player of the Match Katherine Healey, as well as Kennedy Culbreath and Kylie Reid to pick up their first win of the season, 3-0, over visiting Roanoke Star FC at FFC Park on Saturday evening. The women, captained by Stephanie Hendrie and Kaitlyn Butcher, controlled large portions of the match and received an outstanding effort from its back four en route to improving to 1-2-0 on the season. 

The men's side also held an advantage in possession, but were unable to take full advantage, falling to Roanoke Star 2-1 in the opener of the CCL Pro23 doubleheader. Jeremy Hokenson netted FFC's lone goal in a loss that moved them to 1-1-1 on the season.

Both teams return to action next Saturday, June 23, when they host VA Rush at FFC Park. The men's game is scheduled to kick off at 4 p.m., with the women to follow at 6 p.m. 



FFC CCL Pro23 MEN’S TEAM NOTCHES FIRST WIN, SHORTHANDED WOMEN FALL



(Updated 6/10/18) - The FFC CCL Pro23 Men's team got its first win of the season on Saturday afternoon, defeating VA Legacy 5-0 at the Warhill Soccer Complex in Williamsburg, Va.

Goals were scored by Tishan Hanley (2), Silvio Xavier, Paulo Alves and Gabriel Soriano.

The men (1-0-1, 4 pts) are scheduled to return to action next Saturday, June 16, versus Roanoke Stars. Site and time for the FFC home game is yet to be announced. Click Here to check the men's and women's schedule.

Missing several members of its team due to high school graduations other event, the FFC women's team dressed just 12 players in a tough 5-0 setback to the Richmond Strikers. The Strikers collegiately filled roster was too much for FFC (0-2-0) to overcome on this day as the visits started five players from its 2003 (U15) program.

The women will also open their home schedule next Saturday against the Roanoke Stars at a TBD time and site. Click Here to check the men's and women's schedule.


FFC MEN BEGIN SEASON WITH DRAW, WOMEN FALL TO FC RICHMOND

(6/3/18) - The FFC men opened the the season with a 2-2 tie against FC Richmond at James River High School in Chesterfield, Va.

The women's also opened the season the same day, but dropped a tough 3-1 decision to FC Richmond.
