Club Champions League (CCL Premiership  & CCL Championship)

PROFESSIONAL, HASSLE-FREE MANAGEMENT:  The CCL is managed by an Executive Director, Executive Administrative Assistant and Board of Directors made up of the Technical Directors/Directors of Coaching from each of its member clubs. The Board holds six scheduled meetings per year.

UNIQUE CLUB-TO-CLUB SCHEDULING:  Unique to the CCL is the coordinated club-to-club traveling schedule. Each club’s entire contingent of teams (U11-U19, boys and girls) travels together to all away games. Start times are staggered allowing coaching directors and multiplayer families to watch several games.  For coaches that coach multiple teams, club-to-club matchday schedules are designed to deconflict all matches.  The compact yet comprehensive schedule also provides each club with greater flexibility in scheduling tournaments and friendly games during the regular season.

COMPETITION FOR AGE GROUPS U-11 THROUGH U-19:  Competitive play is offered for both boys and girls divisions U-11 through U-19. Divisional winners are recognized at the end of each season. Standings are determined by weekly competition for U12-U19: three points for wins, one point for ties; and no points for losses.  CCL also offers U9 and U10 developmental play.

CCL COLLEGE SHOWCASES:  A TRADITION OF EXCELLENCE.  For over 20 years, the CCL has provided its U16, U17, U18 and U19 boys and girls teams two top level soccer events attended by NCAA Division I, II and III college coaches from across the country:  Fall CCL College Showcase (December) and Winter CCL College Showcase (February).

Club Champions League: Championship (CCL )

In January 2015, the CCL Board of Directors approved the creation of CCL Championship Division.  The geographically-based second division, for current CCL club second teams and new clubs interested in the CCL model, launched fall 2015.  New clubs must still meet the league’s criteria of excellence before gaining acceptance into the CCL.  In 2015, Ellicott City Soccer Club (Maryland) became the first CCL Championship club.

US Youth Conference Leagues : USYSA South Atlantic EDP Conference

The US Youth Conferences is offered by US Youth Soccer Region I for the teams in the New England and Mid-Atlantic states seeking a higher level of play.  The US Youth Conference Leagues replace the former Region I Champions League to identify itself as the premier league in Region I and more closely align itself with the other three US Youth Soccer Region’s leagues.

The league is open to teams registered with US Youth Soccer via their state association providing an opportunity for teams to play meaningful games against teams from around Region I.  The league offers play for U13-U19 boys and girls. There are up to three levels of play.  The Elite Division is the top level of competition.  Premier Division is the middle level of play.  The lowest level of play is the Championship Division.

The US Youth EDP South Atlantic Conference is a qualifying league for the US Youth Soccer National League and the Region I Championship.  The league has a predetermined number of automatic qualifying spots in each age group in both competitions.

The US Youth EDP South Atlantic Conference utilizes promotion-relegation between the divisions.  To qualify for the Elite Division teams must participate in the Eastern Regional League the previous year or finish as champion or finalist in the Region I Championship the prior year.

The US Youth EDP South Atlantic Conferenceaccepts and schedules only 16 teams into the Premier I Division, unless the league commission determines otherwise.  The Premier II and Championship Divisions accept and schedule up to 32 teams.
