Club helps it's coaches increase their coaching knowledge

ZEE SMITH COMPLETES U.S. SOCCER GRASSROOTS COACHING CLASS

FREDERICKSBURG, Va.—Last Fall Zee Smith, a U12 coach in Fredericksburg FC’s Recreation Program, completed the U.S. Soccer 9v9 Grassroots class to further her education and continue to help her be able to better serve her players.

The $25 online coaching class is one of many offered by U.S. Soccer for coaches at the grassroots level.

Smith said finding and registering for the class was easy and straightforward.

“I liked that all of it was online so I could pause the testing and didn't have to do it all in one sitting, this made it easy to balance with work and live coaching,” she expressed. “It was informative and thorough and I'm glad I did it.”
