Steven Kirk – Classic Development Program Director, Coach

An Evangel Christian School of Dale City, VA Graduate, has earned his Bachelor in Business, Masters in Business and Masters in Leadership. He has been coaching since 1994 at various levels to include recreation, advanced, travel, and JV Coach at King George High School. He holds a USSF “D” license and has held various positions within the soccer community before working with FFC to start the Classic Development Program. 

Steven is extremely passionate about developing player skills and teaching players lessons in soccer that they can use in everyday life situations.


Mathew Mozeleski – Classic Development Program Coach

A Courtland High School Graduate, earned his Bachelor of Science from The University of Mary Washington. He has coached three of his kids' recreation soccer teams starting with his eldest son in 2009.  For the past 13 years, he has enjoyed coaching and growing relationships in Fauquier, Culpeper, and the Fredericksburg areas. 

Matt combines his enthusiasm for building community and love for developing players.


Ralph Duggins – Classic Development Program Coach

A Massaponax High School Graduate, and has lived in the Spotsylvania area where he has coached soccer for over 8 years. He has coached 3 of his children in various programs. Ralph loves working with children to develop their game as they grow in their soccer journey.

Ralph is passionate about helping the growth of the player and growing their love of soccer.


Cortez Thompson - Classic Development Program Coach

A Courtland High School Graduate, earned his Bachelor of Science from James Madison University. He has coached both of his kids' recreation soccer teams starting with his eldest daughter for the past 9 years during which he has enjoyed coaching and growing relationships in the Fredericksburg area. 

Cortez combines his passion, enthusiasm, and love for sports by building within the community and developing players skill sets. 


Zee Smith - Classic Development Program Coach

An Easton Area High School Graduate in Pennsylvania, and holds a Bachelor's Degree from New York University. She has coached her daughter on various teams at FFC for the past seven years and coached for seven years in two programs in California. She has also run in two Marathons !! 

Zee values training and education to continuously promote growth and development with her players.


Melissa Kurth - Classic Development Program Coach

A Cedar Falls High School Graduate in Iowa, and has earned a bachelor’s degree from Mary Washington. She has been coaching soccer for over 20 years. She has coached various teams in the recreation and travel levels along with high school teams in Northern Virginia and Michigan. 

Melissa believes soccer is a wonderful sport for players of all ages to learn and play as an individual and a team player.


Tom Montgomery - Classic Development Program Coach

A homeschool graduate of Seton of Manassas in Virginia, has lived in the Spotsylvania area for over 25 years. He has coached his son and daughter for the past thirteen years on various teams in various local programs including FFC.  

Tom believes strongly in every player’s development through practice, and how these skills learned and practiced can translate onto the field on game day.

Delroy Thompson - Classic Development Program Coach
A United States Air Force retiree, who has over 20 years of coaching experience at various levels including recreation, travel and now classic in New Mexico and now here at FFC. He began his coaching journey first to assist his son who had an incredible love for the game.
Delroy endeavors to develop soccer players that are technically sound and in doing so create a positive experience for players.


Lisa Boyer - Classic Development Program Coach

A Quince Orchard High School Graduate in Gaithersburg, Maryland, earned her Bachelor of Arts in English from William and Mary. She played soccer for the Olympic Development Program and Division 1 at William and Mary. She has coached  her sons at various levels over the past 7 years including middle school soccer at Fredericksburg Christian School. 

Lisa uses her coaching to help players develop critical leadership and life skills to help them build self-esteem to be able to persevere under difficult situations.
